Akita Inu is originally belongs to the Japan and is a large dog breed. They were primarily used as guard and military dogs. The breed was additionally employed by hunters. Today, the Akita is considered as the national dog of the Japan and the seven breed of designated as natural monument. There are two types of Akita, the Japanese Akita and the American standard Akita, however sometimes they are believed one breed with variations in selection rather than two completely different breeds. Akitas (Akita inus) over-all look is large with a lot substance and strong boned. In USA and Canada it is considered one breed with some variations in size and the weight. Originally the Akita Inu is the dog of Honshu Island an area of Akita in Japan where it has originated and stayed for centuries without any change in the breed. The Akita is used as military work, police dog, sled dog, guard dog, fighting dog, bear hunting dog and deer hunting dog also.
