Cockapoo a mix of Cocker Spaniel/Poodel

Cockapoo is an ancient hybrid dog and a mix of Cocker Spaniel/Poodel and popular since the 1950s. The Cockapoo Club of The USA established in 1998 by Mary D. Foley and its goal was in order to make reproducing consistency, it designed a breed standard. The club encourages reproducing multigenerational Cockapoos to one another instead of designing new first generations, since this method is expected to help puppies sustain the ideal features that are not observed in almost all first-generation dogs. The United States Cockapoo Club was established in the year 2004. In present there are three clubs of Cockapoo in USA working for the development of Cockapoo by breeding consecutive generations and making it recognized breed. Cockapoo life expectancy may up to 15 years or more in general. Cockapoo’s weight is normally 12 to 24 pounds. Height of Cockapoo is 10 to 15 inches in general.
Cockapoos may be one color or may have complicated marks. They can be brown, black or white with spots of any other shade; they as well can have spots on the muzzle or limbs. Moreover, they have spots over the eyes, on the face, on the chest. Fur of the Cockapoo will differ from dog to dog. Several possess the smooth coat of the spaniel, while some can have a curlier coat similar to a Poodle. The head is round shaped medium in size and the eyes are almond shaped. The muzzle is medium and little bit up on lips. Cockapoo has hanging (flappy) ears.
